My boyfriend of 5 years proposed to me yesterday afternoon. He's my fiance... !!! He's my fiance... Holy crap. I still can't wrap my head around this crazy, beautiful moment in my life. I wasn't expecting it so soon, but it's been long enough. Hah!

His proposal was beautiful. Let me tell you about, if you're willing to listen:

We went on a picnic, which was postponed a day because of the rain on Friday. A place we've never been, Cuyahoga Valley National Park. It was beyond lovely. We ventured through a relaxing 3.5 mile walk while taking photos, holding hands and just enjoying each others company.
We got the the end of the walk and we picked a nice little spot to picnic and relax. Towards the end of the deliciously planned meal he pulls out a small black book. He opens it for me and it's a photo album of our favorite pictures together from year one to now. Hurray! As I get to the end I come up to a photo of a box. I look up at him in total confusion and ask him "What is this?" He replies, "Look at the next picture." I turn the page and the box is open with a ring in it.

At this point I loose it. Of course. He pulls out the same box from the picnic basket and gets on one knee and proposes to me. All of the while I am bawling my eyes out and gasping for air. I honestly can't remember what he said to me, all I know is that I said yes and I am in pure ecstasy.

How quickly everything changes in one question. My boyfriend is now my fiance, all of my feelings for him before have grown immensely as if they could've grown any more before, I have to start thinking about wedding plans and EVERYTHING that goes with that.

Needless to say, I am soooo happy right now.
